FAQS

WHAT ARE YOUR COVID PROTOCOLS?

  1. You must be symptom-free for 24 hours before attending your appointment.

  2. You must wear a face mask.

  3. I will check your temperature before you enter the therapy room.

  4. I will be wearing a mask and apron for the entire treatment.

  5. I sanitize the room and all surfaces between appointments.

  6. Sheets are washed at high temperature and changed just prior to each appointment.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FROM MY FIRST SESSION?

At your first appointment, we will go over your medical history, do some assessments and make a plan for moving forward. If you would like to wear a tank top and shorts, that would help with the process. There is a restroom available for changing.

DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?

I am happy to take PIP (Personal Injury Protection) if you have been in an accident. I am not accepting medical insurance at this time. Dealing with insurance companies does not always prove to be profitable for a massage therapist. I can accept HSA (Health Savings Account) and FSA (Flexible Spending Account) Debit cards. If you are not familiar with these programs, please feel free to ask. Also, I can give you receipts and you can request reimbursement from your insurance. Please let me know if you would like me to provide this.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

I am happy to take your credit card. Cash or checks are preferred to avoid processing fees.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

If you cancel within 24 hours, I will need to collect 50% of your treatment as it is very difficult to fill an opening in 24 hours. I realize there are emergencies, so please communicate with me and we can find a way to make it work for both of us.

IS THERE FREE PARKING?

In my current space downtown Bellingham, the closest parking spots are metered. You can now pay for and manage your parking from your smartphone using the PayByPhone app. If you would like to avoid meter fees, you can park in one of the free spaces on Cornwall near Bellingham High School.
